Ballet Edmonton creates contemporary dance that provokes and inspires. Join us for the 2025/2026 season with Artistic Director Kirsten Wicklund. Our mainstage season takes place at the Triffo Theatre inside Allard Hall at MacEwan University in downtown Edmonton.

Threshold invites audiences into bold, risk-driven work that pushes physical boundaries and expands our perception of contemporary ballet — where new textures, ideas, and possibilities come vividly to life.

We close the season with Reverie, an expanded creation first imagined in 2020. Featuring live choral and instrumental music by Pulitzer Prize–winning composer David Lang, this work fuses voice and movement into an intimate, transcendent experience where body becomes score and sound becomes motion.
