Growing up in Port Moody, BC, Nolan began his journey in musical theatre, performing in various community productions throughout the Lower Mainland. In 2016, he began professional dance training at Arts Umbrella under the direction of Artemis Gordon, where he continued his education in the Post-Secondary program and graduated in 2022. During his time at Arts Umbrella, Nolan had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Crystal Pite, Anne Plamondon, and Aszure Barton—whom he would later collaborate with on a project for her company, Aszure Barton & Artists. Nolan has also had the privilege of working with companies like Bodytraffic and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. He is excited to begin this new chapter of his career with Ballet Edmonton.
