Raised in Vancouver, BC, Devon (she/her) received her training at Arts Umbrella, graduating from the post-secondary dance program under the direction of Artemis Gordon. She expanded on her foundational training through summer programs at The Royal Ballet School, Canada’s National Ballet School, and l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec. In 2022, she participated in the Ballet BC Annex Program, performing and teaching outreach workshops throughout BC. She is a recipient of the BC Arts Council Scholarship and the McCall MacBain Cultural Leadership Award.
Devon has worked with celebrated choreographers including Crystal Pite, Medhi Walerski, Marco Goecke, and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. She joined Ballet Edmonton in 2022, where she continues to explore the depth of human connection through movement. She views dance as an embodied conversation that brings people closer to themselves and each other. Outside of the studio, Devon is working towards completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences part-time.
