I love the fact that Edmonton is full of fun and cultural things to do – great and various exhibits, shows, festivals… I love taking my bike and discovering new areas! There is a beautiful view of the river from the High Level bridge!
Before a performance, I always go on stage to think through entrances and corrections as part of my warm-up, and I will also dance out certain sections to get my body into the piece. I’ll be on the move until the final bow.
My favourite ballerinas are Diana Vishneva and Natalia Osipova. But every very good dancer becomes an inspiration, and I stopped counting the hours I spend watching them on YouTube!
I start my weekend with 3 hours of teaching ballet and choreography. I get some rest at home, but also always try to find time to hang out with friends.
