Ballet Edmonton occasionally offers adult fitness classes taught by a professional ballerina. Get barre fit and ballet beautiful. Classes are open to individuals who are 18 years-of-age and older, plus we are delighted to add an active seniors class for 50+. All classes are designed for men and women who want a fun, low impact exercise experience in a comfortable, friendly environment.
Pre-registration is required.
Bring with you: water and a yoga mat
Attire: yoga wear, bare feet or barre socks (grippy soles)
Barre socks are available at most sports or fitness retailers.
First time clients: Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. This will allow ample time to fill out a client waiver, take a tour and meet your instructor.
Injured clients: It is recommended that clients with injuries consult with their doctor(s) before beginning any new exercise method/regime. Please also inform your fitness instructor about any injuries that you may have before class begins.
Prenatal clients: If you exercise regularly, have no serious medical problems and are having an uncomplicated pregnancy, it may be safe to exercise. All pregnant clients must consult their physician before they may take the class.
