Creative Collaboration

Citie Ballet would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the staff and board at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, especially Wendy Hollo, Rona Fraser and artistic director Paul Freeman for their assistance with our winter production of Intersect. The groundbreaking, moving piece See Me couldn’t have been achieved without them and their willingness to collaborate on such a special project.

Specifically, a special thanks to Paul who was instrumental in coordinating the artists’ involvement in the creation of the sets and costumes. We were honoured to share the stage with the one-of-a-kind pieces lovingly created by artist Scott Berry and his talented collaborators in the collective that helped shine a light on the beautiful artwork that comes from The Nina studio. This first-of-its-kind collaboration was a wonderful example of two YEG arts groups working together to share each other’s work.
