Summer Dance Intensive 2023

Ballet Edmonton 2023 Summer Dance Intensive for pre-professionals offers dedicated dance students the opportunity to learn from professional dancers and choreographers and work on repertoire that expands their physical vocabulary. This intensive is designed to help students with a strong technical foundation explore new perspectives on contemporary dance practices. Students will have daily classes in ballet, contemporary, improvisation, and repertoire.
Applicants to this intensive must have a minimum of four years of ballet training. Classes will run in person, and students must show proof of full vaccination to attend.
Auditions are not required, but Ballet Edmonton artistic staff will assess each dancer on the first day for physical capacity and appropriate placement.
