We welcome Alberta-born choreographer Joshua Beamish and Vancouver-based Rachel Meyer for our second performance of the season.
Joshua brings his incredibly dynamic art to our stage after having made a name for himself as a fearless, physically challenging creator. With Rachel’s extensive and diverse dance and choreographic background, this will be a tour de force of balletic talent and we are thrilled to present their work in this mixed program.
We walk through life casting many shadows, as if standing at the focal point of multiple spotlights.

In a world torn apart by differences of religious belief, tragedy can bring about a crisis of faith, in humanity.
First conceptualized in the wake of the London Bridge attacks and the Grenfell Towers fire, this piece explores feelings of confusion in the wake of unexpected tragedy as a depiction of how London struggled, enduring two traumatic events in the span of just two weeks.
